Path of studies in mechanical engineering

Our three-year training in Mechanical Engineering is organized in five paths:

Mechanical Path: aimed at providing a preparatory preparation for the Master's Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Energy Engineering, it trains engineers with specific knowledge in the areas of mechanics, energy and biomedical, alongside general skills designed for inclusion in broad sectors of industrial and technical applications.
Scientific-Mechanical Path: aimed at providing a preparatory preparation for the Master's Degrees in Mechanical and Energy Engineering, the training is aimed at further strengthening the scientific preparation offered by the Mechanical Path, also in view of further training courses such as PhD.
Electrical/Automation Path: aimed at providing preparatory training for the Master's Degrees in Energy Engineering and Electrical Engineering and Automation, it trains engineers with specific knowledge in the areas of electrical and automation and is aimed at specific sectors in the industrial and professional field.

Professionalizing Path: the training involves the acquisition of technical skills directly expendable in the application work.

Each of the six training paths provides for the acquisition of a total of 180 university training credits (CFU), and to see which Teachings correspond to you can look at the synoptic table of the Teachings of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Even the videos made on the occasion of the orientation day can help you to understand what our training offer consists of.

All the information can be found in the Student Guide a.a. 2018/19 of the School of Engineering.
